Sara is a designer, illustrator and whimsical watercolorist from southern California. Influenced by Matisse, Klee and Marimekko, her art is happy, layered and whimsical. Living in Los Angeles provides her with endless inspiration, from colors of the sun, to retro modern architecture and the variety of succulents. After graduating from CalArts, her career began as a designer for the music industry. In 2008, she packed up her bags to debut her card line Paper Loop at the National Stationery Show in New York. Her art has been seen in numerous magazines including Better Homes & Gardens, on Billabong surfboards, in fabric stores, card & gift shops and on a vegan clothing line with a compassion for animals. Sara’s wish is for the world to be a happier place through color and design.
