I really enjoyed working on illustrations this week for Rise Design and Shine! They were nice enough to feature me on their blog today. This class has been really helpful for me to follow my instinct and enjoy working in watercolor. Here is a new one called bicycle girl!
Don't you think this would look fun on your wall?!
I have just finished up week 7: people power with Rise Design & Shine! I followed my instinct and stuck with watercolor. More of these to follow...
I got some new paintbrushes and so far I really like them. I especially love the angled ones.
I'm using mission watercolor paints and I absolutely love them! They are really smooth and have excellent color.
Here are some new designs I made this week, inspired by autumn. These would feel so cozy as pillows don't you think?
Oh my goodness! I'm so excited to share some new pieces with you on my desk for the upcoming Studio Tour Weekend!
This piece above has already sold but prints will be available!
I've also been making gift tags!
I will be having an open studio on October 16th as part of the GO-2016 tour. Home to dozens of commercial artists, GO-2016 is a free 2 day event which highlights Glendale artists. My space at Cope Studios is part of the industrial art tour route. Reserve your free tickets here. Please note, that I will only be there on Sunday the 16th! I will have holiday cards, gift tags, art prints and originals available on sale. Come say hi!
